In the Math/Physics building students, find smaller classrooms designed to create a one-on-one experience with faculty. These classrooms create the ideal atmosphere to learn courses such as calculus, differential equations, general physics and thermodynamics. Students can also receive free tutoring in the Math Learning Center.  The Physics department has both introductory and advanced labs which are fully equipped with computers at each lab station to enable computer-assisted data acquisition and analysis. The department has a well-equipped stockroom that includes a variety of lasers and precision optical equipment, an 8-inch reflecting telescope, and x-rays.
