As you walk into the Belmont
Resident Hall (BRH), you’re greeted in the main lobby with the
excitement of the community, students preparing for classes,
watching cable-TV on the big-screen, playing pool and planning
upcoming events. Students enjoy a wide-range of activities and
recreational areas in the three-winged complex housing more than 500
students. Many students participate in floor competitions for movie
tickets or pizza parties, rope course challenges, Teen Idol
competitions, and movie nights. The BRH gym offers basketball and
volleyball and is a great place to see local bands during the year.
Students can use the Fireplace Room to host parties, conduct club
meetings or watch late night movies. The computer lab offers
students a central place to write research papers, e-mail friends
and family, and surf the Internet. Many students are surprised by
the spacious rooms, large closets and amenities offered, such as
free Internet connection, free cable, and free local calling. |
