Your first step towards higher education!

The SCEOC's purpose is to provide FREE assistance and information about higher educational opportunities and financial aid availability for adults in the community (age 19 years and older) who are low-income and/or first generation college students (neither parent has earned a Bachelor's degree).  

Services Provided:

• Information about college
• Assistance in Obtaining GEDs
• Personal and Academic Advising
• Assistance with Applying for Admissions and Financial Aid, including Electronic Filing of Financial Aid Applications
• Information about Grants, Scholarships, Loans, etc.
• Workshops on College Survival, Communication Skills, and More
• Testing Information and Registration
• Referrals for Tutorial Services
• Transfer Assistance from One Educational Institution to Another
• Assistance with Rehabilitation of Defaulted Student Loans
