​About us

The PROPEL Center at Color​ado State University-Pueblo is a grant-funded initiative conceived to increase the number of STEM graduates, especially among our Hispanic and low-income students.  The For this purpose, and  provides students with ONLINE, personalized and walk-in tutoring in addition to mentoring, supplemental instruction and Summer Academic Forgiveness Education –SAFE courses with the aim of addressing the individual needs of students pursuing a STEM degree and/or taking lower level STEM courses (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Civil Engineering Technology).  To use these services, stop by the Center located in the Life Sciences building, room 122, during our service hours Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; Sat 8:00 am – 12:00 pm and Sun 12:00-4:00pm.  These hours are subject to change around Midterms and Finals to ensure additional support.​

Increase the number of Hispanic and low-income STEM graduates (Absolute Priority #1)
Develop model transfer and articulation agreements with Pueblo Community College (Absolute Priority #2)
Enable more data-based decision-making at CSU-P to improve postsecondary outcomes related to enrollment, persistence, and completion, leading to career success (Competitive Preference Priority).
