Wulf joins Pack as alumni leader at
Colorado State University - Pueblo
PUEBLO
–Colorado State University-Pueblo has hired a wolf, Christy Wulf, to
lead its alumni operations as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund.

Beginning July 1, Wulf will be responsible for contributing to the
advancement of CSU-Pueblo by building relationships and active alumni
participation with the University’s 38,000+ ThunderWolf graduates and former
students. The director will work in collaboration with the University’s
development team to actively manage a portfolio of alumni volunteers and
take an active role in building pride in the University, promoting the value
of being an alumnus/a, and engaging current students to prepare them for
participation after graduation.
Wulf will develop and implement a full program of on- and off-campus special
events and gatherings, including reunions, homecoming events, athletic
contests, distinguished alumni dinners, and alumni chapters nationwide and
globally. The director also researches and manages various alumni benefits,
including discount, insurance, and travel programs.
For the past six years, Wulf has served as executive director, director, and
assistant director of events within education and non-profit settings. She
brings experience in both higher education alumni events management and
public relations to CSU-Pueblo.
Most recently, Wulf filled multiple roles and duties as Executive Director
of the Hillsboro (KS) Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau
and Management Board; she was also the community coordinator of the
Hillsboro Arts and Crafts Fair and the Marion County Fair. At the Hillsboro
Chamber, she increased Chamber membership 15 percent and initiated four
additional fundraising events. Considered one of the largest arts and crafts
fairs in the state, the Hillsboro Arts and Crafts Fair demands coordination
of more than 400 artists from 15 states, 100 volunteers, and 40,000+
shoppers. This event has been rated among the top 100 arts and crafts shows
in the country by Sunshine Artist magazine.
As director of alumni events at Tabor College (KS), Wulf coordinated and
planned events ranging from biannual phone solicitations to homecoming and
social and service activities. She maintained the alumni web site and
contributed to the production of the Tabor College alumni magazine. She also
has served as a marketing and communications assistant at Sterling College
(KS), where she developed all on-campus public relations programs and
materials and also worked with the alumni web site and magazine. She was
also the assistant director of the Alumni Department and the William Inge
Theatre Festival at Independence Community College (KS).
Wolf earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a business communications
concentration from the University of Kansas and is a graduate of Leadership
Marion County.
