Colorado State University – Pueblo hosts
Discover CSU-Pueblo Visit Day
Pueblo- First-time students and
transfer students who have been accepted to Colorado State University-Pueblo
will have the opportunity to finalize their application process and to
register for fall classes as part of Discover CSU-Pueblo Visit Day on
Friday, March 7.
The CSU-Pueblo Admissions Office will host the day-long event from 8:30 a.m.
– 2:30 p.m., in the Occhiato University Center Ballroom. Individuals who are
interested in attending the University, but may not already have applied,
also are welcomed to attend.
Attendees will begin the day at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and
entertainment by the Soul Steppers, followed by Provost Russ Meyer, who will
welcome first-time and transfer students and their families to campus.
Two break-out sessions are scheduled at 9:15 a.m. One will take the
first-time student through the financial aid and scholarship processes,
while the second session will guide transfer students in the steps necessary
to transfer in credit that has been taken at other institutions. In
addition, both groups of students will have an opportunity to meet with
professors and academic advisors in order to complete their registration of
classes.
Representatives from housing, Student Health Services, and athletics also
will be on hand to answer any questions regarding their areas. Tours of the
Bookstore, Library, and the overall campus will be provided by the Wolf
Tracks Tour Co. Student Ambassadors. The Division of Student Life, including
student clubs and organizations, will set up informational booths and
distribute handouts about extra-curricular activities.
