Colorado State University – Pueblo to
celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with showcase
Pueblo- Colorado State University – Pueblo will be one of five sponsors
of a day-long seminar in recognition of National Disability Employment
Awareness Month. CSU-Pueblo will team with ARC, AA Window Washing, the
Center for Disabilities, and the Colorado Division of Vocational
Rehabilitation to offer resources and information for tapping into an
underutilized and dedicated workforce and laughter by one of the world’s
most successful disabled comics.
According to event coordinator Tony Montoya, participants will explore the
employer resources available when hiring workers with disabilities, learn
the facts about the Americans with Disabilities Act, and increase their
awareness of a valuable and productive labor pool.
