2006 Homecoming activities at Colorado
State University
Pueblo- scheduled for Oct. 2-8 PUEBLO- Former students and graduates of
Southern Colorado Junior College, Pueblo Junior College, Southern Colorado
State College, the University of Southern Colorado, and Colorado State
University – Pueblo are encouraged to return to campus Oct. 2 – 8 for a
variety of activities, planned both by students and the Alumni Association.
Student-sponsored Homecoming activities, Decades of Thunderwolves, will kick
off Monday, (Oct. 2), with Toga Day and a Toga Party beginning at 7 p.m. in
Walking Stick Apartments. Students who participate by dressing in the
appropriate clothing of the decade will receive a prize each day. Tuesday
(Oct. 3) will honor the flappers and Zoot Suits of the 1920s, closing with a
7:30 p.m. bonfire and WildWings Buffalo hot wings eating contest at the
Rawlings Soccer Field. Wednesday (Oct. 4) will recognize the 1950s and will
feature an 8:30 p.m. showing of Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead Man’s Chest
in the OUC Ballroom.
