CSU–Pueblo Alumni Association Seeks Outstanding
Alumni
Pueblo- Who are the greatest representatives of the quality
education received at Colorado State University – Pueblo? Our alumni! Each
year the Alumni Association recognizes exceptional alumni and leaders for
their extraordinary achievements and support of our University and the
communities in which they serve. Do you know an outstanding graduate of
CSU-Pueblo, USC, SCSC, or PJC?
The Alumni Association is seeking nominations from fellow alumni, University
retirees, faculty and staff, and from the general public for its 2006
Distinguished Alumni Awards, which will be presented during Homecoming week,
Oct. 5-8.
The following awards will be granted in a special presentation on Saturday,
October 7:
• Outstanding Alumna
• Outstanding Alumnus
• Outstanding Alumni Achievement
• Cuerno Verde Award (graduate of the last decade) NEW!
• Service to the University (does not have to be alumna/alumnus to qualify)
• Service to the Community (does not have to be alumna/alumnus to qualify)
Each nomination should be accompanied by a summary of the nominee’s
accomplishments. Include information such as resume/vitae, newspaper
clippings, honors/awards, letters of recommendation, etc. Nominations must
be submitted for committee review by Friday, August 18, 2006. E-mail your

Homecoming activities will include ThunderWolf soccer games, a Reunion
Luncheon for all graduating classes ending in a 1 or a 6, the Student Alumni
Association’s 3rd Annual T-Wolf Challenge (formerly known as the Fear Factor
Challenge), Alumni Reception Luau Style, and a Family Fun Day.
