CSU–Pueblo offers free, 18-week course in lifestyle balance

Pueblo-
The Department of Exercise Science, Health Promotion, and Recreation at Colorado State University – Pueblo will conduct 18 weeks of FREE diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention classes beginning in late August.

The classes will focus on changing activity and eating behaviors in order to lose weight and reduce the risk of disease. Classes are offered in small group settings in area churches and will begin Tuesday, Aug. 22 and Wed., Aug. 23. Tuesday’s classes will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy Ave. Wednesday night classes will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Majestic Baptist Church, 494 E.
