CSU–Pueblo offers diabetes awareness classes
Pueblo- The Department of Exercise Science and Health Promotion at
Colorado State University – Pueblo will offer a free 16-week program to
individuals who are at risk for and/or predisposed to Type 2 Diabetes.
The program will teach lifestyle balance through healthy eating and
activity. The classes will be in small group settings on various days and
times. Six different classes will begin the week of July 10 and will end the
week of October 23.
Five of these classes will take place on the CSU-Pueblo campus in the
Occhiato University Center, while the sixth class will be located at the
Pueblo Chieftain. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 30.
