KDZA to host Easter Egg Hunt at CSU Pueblo;
FREE tickets available at Pueblo Loaf-N-Jugs

Pueblo-
Pueblo’s No 1 radio station and its hometown university have teamed up for the third annual KDZA/Modern Concept Financial Easter Egg Hunt. The event begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, on the west side of the Colorado State University Pueblo campus.

The free event invites children to find eggs to earn prizes from local businesses, including Wendy’s, Little Caesar’s Pizza, the Pueblo Parks and Recreation, Buell’s Children Museum and more. Plus there will be handfuls of candy to fill kids’ baskets.

Children 2 and under will hunt for eggs at 10 a.m., ages 3 to 5 at 10:20 a.m., and children 6 to 8 at 10:40 a.m.

Participants can pick up their free ticket from any Pueblo Loaf-N-Jug location.

Last year more than 1,000 people braved the wintry weather for the event. Clear Channel Promotions Manager and KDZA Morning Co-Host Charlie Mayer said she expects another great turnout.

“We have an awesome, spirited community,” she said. “Despite the snowy weather, hundreds of families came to take part in the event and fill their baskets up.

I expect this year to be just as fun – no matter what the weather.”
