CSU-Pueblo Sponsors Seventh Annual
X-Challenge Competition
Pueblo- Run, bike, throw, swing, or row your way to Colorado State
University – Pueblo campus for the seventh annual X-Challenge scheduled on
Saturday, April 15, 2006. This year’s competition will be a continuous
adventure race format.
Registration now is underway for this extreme adventure race competition in
which teams of two (men’s, women’s, and coed teams) compete in a mountain
bike relay, a Frisbee golf relay, a kayak/run relay, and a ropes/challenge
course for each team’s share of prizes and the esteemed honor of being named
the 2006 X-CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS.
This event is sponsored by students in the CSU-Pueblo Department of Exercise
Science and Health Promotion and Recreation, in conjunction with the
University’s Experiential Learning Center. Registration is being taken

Registration fees are $40 for student teams and $50 for non-student teams.
The competition is open to individuals age 16 and up. All participants will
receive a t-shirt, food, refreshments, and the chance to win “out” door
prizes. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the competition with
an awards ceremony to follow.
