More than 300 students from the following high schools participated in Math Day activities: Air Academy, Antonito, Canon City, Centauri, Centennial (San Luis Valley), Pueblo Central, Cheraw, Coronado, Del Norte, Doherty, Pueblo East, Ellicott, Fountain-Fort Carson, John Mall in Walsenburg, Kim, La Junta, Liberty, Mesa Ridge, Pine Creek, Pritchett, Pueblo Centennial, Rampart, Rangely, Rocky Ford, Salida, Pueblo South, Swink, Wasson, and Pueblo West. Rangely High School placed second in the competition with team members Kyle Murphy, Jaqui Mackey, and Michael Morton. Semifinalists were Coronado High School with team members John Blatt, Greg Broughton, Paul Goggin and Antonito High School with team members Desiree Barela, Joline Lobato, and Joaquin Martinez.
