CSU–Pueblo Hasan Advisory
Board adds four new members
Pueblo –The Hasan School of Business Board of Advisors at Colorado
State University – Pueblo has announced the addition of four members. The
members are leaders within the community who provide a vital link between
the Hasan School of Business and southern Colorado communities. The board
assists the school by keeping the curriculum pertinent and updated while
also highlighting the schools programs and strengths to others.
The new members are Bonnie Martinez, Community Bank President for Wells
Fargo in Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Monument, and Woodland Park; Keith
Swerdfeger, President of K.R. Swerdfeger Construction; Laura Kelly, partner
at Redwine Kelly Financial Services; and Judy Fonda, President of Premier
Mortgage Services. Board members meet four times and year and may only serve
two three-year terms with the exception of the senior advisors who may serve
an unlimited term.
A Colorado native, Martinez has spent more than 30 years in the banking
industry with stops in San Antonio, Texas, and Northern California before
returning to her home state last April. She lives in Colorado Springs with
her husband of 31 years.
Swerdfeger has led Swerdfeger Construction since 1968 and incorporated the
company in 1973. Among his community activities, he has served as president
of the Southern Colorado Contractors Association, the Colorado Contractors
Association, chaired the Pueblo City and County Regional Building
Commission, and been a director of the Pueblo Economic Development
Corporation.
A 1991 graduate of CSU-Pueblo, Kelly has more than 13 years in the financial
services industry with expertise in financial issues of divorce, financial
planning, education, and retirement funding. She serves on the board of
Parkview Medical Center Foundation and is involved in numerous community
organizations.
Fonda oversees internal operations for Premier Mortgage as well as develops
business relationships at Premier Mortgage Services, where she has worked
since 1989. She is chair of the Parkview Medical Center Board of Directors,
treasurer of the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation and also is
involved with the Pueblo Day Nursery Children’s Foundation, KTSC, YMCA, and
Newborn Hope.
