Pueblo- Students attending Southern Colorado Junior College, Pueblo Junior College, Southern Colorado State College, the University of Southern Colorado, and Colorado State University – Pueblo are encouraged to make a Come Back to campus Oct. 13-16. Activities include everything from a student challenge course and musical theatre to a reunion of the Class of 1955, luau reception, and recognition of five distinguished alumni.

Homecoming week kicks off on Thursday with a Reunion Luncheon for the Class of 1955 at their old stomping grounds on the campus of Pueblo Community College. The featured speaker will be former faculty member Rodney Townley. The event begins at 11 a.m. in the Fortino Ballroom, 900 W. Orman Ave., at a cost of $5 per person. Campus tours will be available following the luncheon. Reservations should be made by Friday, Oct. 7 by calling 719-549-3314.
CSU-Pueblo students and alumni will take the stage Thursday through Saturday nights with performances of Blues in the Night, originally conceived by Sheldon Epps. The Southern Colorado Theatre Company (SCTC) presents the universal language of the blues in this dramatic revue of stories through songs, which cover the range of this indigenous American art form from Bessie Smith and Duke Ellington to Johnny Mercer, Alberta Hunter to Ida Cox. All three performances start at 7:30 p.m. in Hoag Hall. Ticket prices are $6 for students, alumni, and seniors and $10 for general admission. For tickets or information, call the SCTC Box office at 543-9800.

The CSU-Pueblo Student Alumni Association (SAA) will host the second annual T-Wolf Challenge (formerly Fear Factor Friday). Registration for up to 20 teams, each with two team members, is currently underway. The event will consist of three stunts, with teams vying for new mountain bikes. Beginning at noon, teams will meet at the CSU-Pueblo Ropes Course for Stunt 1, Giant’s Ladder. For the remainder of the afternoon, the top 8 teams will move on to advance to Stunts 2 and 3 near the amphitheatre on the west side of campus. Two more stunts await the top 8 teams of students who dare to test their physical and mental skills, and perhaps their intestinal fortitude.
All contestants must be currently enrolled CSU-Pueblo students and are required to sign the appropriate release forms before competing. To sign up, please call the SAA at (719) 549-2649 or e-mail your request to saa@colostate-pueblo.edu.

Elizabeth St., with a luau style Alumni Reception sponsored by the Alumni Association and GEICO, complete with food, contests, giveaways and reminiscing. Unlimited food, drinks and entertainment will be available at a cost of $10 per person. Tropical costumes are encouraged, but not required.
