CSU-Pueblo Sponsors Sixth Annual X-Challenge Competition  
              

Pueblo-
 Run, bike, climb, swing, or paddle your way to Colorado State University – Pueblo for the sixth annual X-Challenge scheduled on Saturday, April 30. Registration now is underway for this extreme competition in which 16 co-ed teams of four compete in a mountain bike relay, a climbing wall relay, a kayak/run relay, and a ropes/challenge course for each team’s share of prizes and the esteemed honor of being named the 2005 X-CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS.
 
This event is sponsored by students in the CSU-Pueblo Department of Exercise Science and Health Promotion and Recreation, in conjunction with the University’s Experiential Learning Center. Registration is being taken online at http://www.active.com  click on Individual Sports search under CSU-Pueblo X-Challenge.
 
On-campus early registration will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Monday, April 18. Early registration fees in the form of check and cash are $45 for a team of four. Online registration at www.active.com  is available for $51 plus applicable fees with credit card for your team of four. Please register no later than April 28, 2005. The competition is open to individuals age 18 and up. All participants will receive a t-shirt, food, refreshments, and the chance to win “out” door prizes. Registration/check-in opens at 7:45 a.m. the morning of the competition with an awards ceremony to follow.
