Colorado State University – Pueblo nursing
students host Annual 9 Health Fair
Pueblo- The Nursing Department at Colorado State University – Pueblo
will team with a host of local organizations to provide health screenings
and education at its annual health fair this Saturday, April 16.
The Annual 9Health Fair will be held from 7 a.m. - noon on Saturday at the
Center High School Cafeteria, 216 E. Orman Ave. The event is open to the
public at no charge.
Attendees may talk with a health professional or ask questions of a
pharmacist throughout the fair. Participants may obtain free colorectal
exams, pap screenings, blood sugar testing, as well as free height, weight,
Body Mass Index, vision, oral, breast, diabetes, hearing, and blood
pressure/pulse screenings. In addition, other screenings will test Body In
Balance, bone density, foot and lung functions.
A 31-panel blood screening is available for $30 and a prostate specific
antigen screen for $25.
The following organizations will provide interactive learning stations:

Department Data; Sangre De Cristo Hospice; Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation; and the Western Dairy Council Data.
