Colorado State University – Pueblo teacher
group to fling mud for school supplies
Pueblo- Colorado State University – Pueblo students, faculty and staff
are invited to participate in “Mud Wars,” a co-ed mud volleyball tournament
to raise funds for school supplies for underprivileged Pueblo children. The
tournament, sponsored by the CSU-Pueblo Teacher Education Association, will
begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22 on the CSU-Pueblo campus. The
registration deadline is April 8. Entry forms may be downloaded from
http://ceeeps.colostate-pueblo.edu/tep or picked up in Library Wing 320.
Participants may register as teams of six players (with a minimum of two
females in each team) for $25 per team, or individually for $8 per person.
Those registering individually will form teams of six. The winning team will
receive a prize of $125, and all participants will receive a free t-shirt.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Steps for Success, a walk-a-thon
scheduled in August that raises funds to purchase school supplies for
low-income students in Pueblo.
