Pueblo-
Colorado State University – Pueblo students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in “Mud Wars,” a co-ed mud volleyball tournament to raise funds for school supplies for underprivileged Pueblo children. The tournament, sponsored by the CSU-Pueblo Teacher Education Association, will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22 on the CSU-Pueblo campus. The registration deadline is April 8. Entry forms may be downloaded from http://ceeeps.colostate-pueblo.edu/tep or picked up in Library Wing 320.

Participants may register as teams of six players (with a minimum of two females in each team) for $25 per team, or individually for $8 per person. Those registering individually will form teams of six. The winning team will receive a prize of $125, and all participants will receive a free t-shirt.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Steps for Success, a walk-a-thon scheduled in August that raises funds to purchase school supplies for low-income students in Pueblo.

For a complete list of rules or to register for Mud Wars, contact Cindy Gutierrez via e-mail at cindy.gutierrez@colostate-pueblo.edu or at 719-549-2278.
