Announces Snow Riders Trip 2005
Pueblo- The Experiential Learning Center (ELC) at Colorado State
University-Pueblo has announced its 2005 Snow Riders trip to Steamboat
Springs. The seven day, six night ski and snowboarding trip to Mt. Warner
Ski Area will run from Wednesday, January 5 through Tuesday, January 11.
ELC offers trips and workshops that provide access to outdoor activities at
a reasonable cost. All events are open to CSU-Pueblo students first, but
then may be filled to capacity by interested CSU-Pueblo faculty, staff,
alumni, and community members. At a cost of $409 per person, the Snow Riders
trip includes six-person-per-condo lodging near the ski area, lift tickets
for four days, one evening trip to Strawberry Hot Springs, and one free
dinner at a Steamboat Springs downtown restaurant.
Participants of the trip will meet in the Occhiato University Center parking
lot at 7 a.m. on January 5. Transportation will be provided to and from
Steamboat Springs. Participants will need to provide their own
skiing/boarding clothes and equipment and a reasonable amount of food.
Coolers for the trip will be provided, and the condos have full kitchens.
Participants also should bring a swimsuit and towel for the hot springs.
Participants will arrive back on campus at about 3 p.m. on January 11.
