Colorado State University – Pueblo announces ‘Constructive Construction’ Exhibit
Pueblo- The Capps Capozzolo Academic Center for the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences will host the “Constructive Construction” art exhibit featuring the work of Marc Berghaus and Tim Flynn from October 8 through November 19.
The sculpture art exhibit will be open in the Fine Art Gallery of the Art and Music Building from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday with an opening reception from 5 to
7 p.m. on Saturday, October 9.
Berghaus, a Kansas native with a bachelor’s degree in East Asian History, first expressed his artistic talent through painting and photography. But it is through sculpting that Burghaus has received recognition and acceptance into the world of art.
Flynn, who currently resides in Pine, Colo., received the Mayors Medal for his excellence in teaching, design, and creation as artist-in-residence at Auvillar, France in 1999. He is a member of the Edge Gallery in Denver and teaches art at a Denver middle school.
Both sculptors are nationally known for creating works that have been described as whimsical, yet filled with profound or spiritual questions.
