CSU – Pueblo Alumni Association seeks nominations for Distinguished Alumni Awards
Pueblo- Who are the greatest examples of the quality education available at Colorado State University – Pueblo? Successful graduates, of course. Each year, the Alumni Association recognizes exceptional alumni and visionary leaders for their extraordinary achievements and support of the University and the community.
The Alumni Association seeks nominations of outstanding CSU-Pueblo, USC, SCSC, PJC, or SCJC graduates from fellow alumni, University retirees, faculty and staff, and from the general public.
The following awards will be granted in a special presentation on Saturday, October 23 as part of Homecoming Weekend activities, Oct. 22-24:
- Outstanding Alumna
- Outstanding Alumnus
- Outstanding Alumni Achievement
- Service to the University (does not have to be alumna/alumnus to qualify)
- Service to the Community (does not have to be alumna/alumnus to qualify)
Homecoming activities planned include a luau style reception on Friday from 7-10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn with music, food and cocktails, a campus family fun day on Saturday, a musical production of Annie Get Your Gun (Saturday and Sunday performances), and a recognition/reunion/dinner dance celebration.
Each nomination should be accompanied by a summary of the nominee’s accomplishments. Please include as much information as possible (resume/vitae, newspaper clippings, honors/awards, letters of recommendation, etc.) Nominations must be submitted for Selection Committee review by Wednesday, September 1, 2004. Nominations should be mailed to:
