CSU - Pueblo sponsors Surround Sound Workshop April 19
Pueblo -- A seminar on
surround sound techniques and technology with renowned expert Mike Sokol is
scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. on Monday, April 19 at Colorado State University -
Pueblo. The event, which is sponsored by CSU-Pueblo's Art Department and Elledge
Music, will take place in the Life Sciences Auditorium.
Sokol has 35 years experience in sound technology and is the author of "The
Acoustic Musician's Guide to Sound Reinforcement & Live Recording." He
has written more than 1,200 copyrighted columns on audio production and has
served as contributing editor to several magazines including "Electronic
Musician," "EQ," "On-Stage" and "TV
Technology." Sokol is writing a second book - this one on surround sound
production - that will be published by Schirmer Press this fall.
