CSU - Pueblo to Host Eve 6, Toasters at Spring Concert April 20
Pueblo -- Colorado State
University - Pueblo's Special Events Committee will present its spring concert
featuring Eve 6 and The Toasters at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20 at the
Colorado State Fair Events Center.
The Toasters, known for their lively Ska music - a sort of mix between reggae
and rhythm and blues, will open the event. The band was formed in 1981 on the
lower east side of Manhattan, N.Y., and has released numerous albums over the
years. The Toasters continue to give high-energy, crowd-pleasing performances.
The event will continue with a performance from Eve 6. The members of this band
signed a contract with RCA Records right out of high school, and released their
first modern rock, self-titled album in 1998. The album reached platinum status
with hit songs "Inside Out" and "Leech." In 2001, the band
released its second album, "Horrorscope," with the hit song
"Here's to the Night."
All current CSU-Pueblo students are entitled to one free ticket to the concert.
The Special Events Committee will have a table outside the CSU-Pueblo Library
beginning Monday, April 5 with the free tickets. Students must present a current
and valid CSU-Pueblo ID to receive a free ticket.
Tickets are on sale at the Colorado State Fair Events Center Box Office at the
