Pueblo -- As finals week
nears an end, Colorado State University - Pueblo announces holiday closing
information and an enrollment schedule for the spring 2004 semester.
The University will be closed for business during the holiday season beginning
Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004. Campus offices will reopen on
Friday, Jan. 2. A New Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, for
new freshmen who have been accepted to the University and are interested in
enrolling for the spring semester. The session will begin with check-in at noon
in the Hasan School of Business lobby. The orientation will include a welcome by
President Ronald Applbaum, advising and registration, and campus tours. To make
a reservation for New Student Orientation, call Student Academic Services at
(719) 549-2581. New transfer students should contact their academic department
to be advised and registered.
Open registration for continuing students who have not already registered or
individuals who would like to take a course as a guest student will be available
from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 9, 2004. Students will report to their
academic areas for advisement and registration during this time.
Students who have undeclared majors, with the exception of music, English, and
pre-business, will be advised and registered through Academic Advising located
in the Office of Student Academic services, in Psychology 232.
The first day of spring semester classes at CSU-Pueblo is Monday, Jan. 12, 2004.
