CSU - Pueblo Athletics To Collect Toys For Ill Children
Pueblo -- The Colorado
State University - Pueblo Athletic Department will team up with the Starlight
Children's Foundation and Starbucks Coffee to collect new toys for seriously ill
children in Southern Colorado hospitals.
Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy to this weekend's Holiday Inn/Chuck
Stephens Memorial Basketball Classic at CSU-Pueblo will receive a $4 ticket
discount plus a small cup of Starbucks Coffee or hot chocolate.
All toys collected will be distributed throughout the year by the Starlight
Children's Foundation and Starbucks.
The Thunderwolves women's basketball team plays New York Tech on December 5 and
the University of Nebraska-Omaha on December 6. CSU-Pueblo's men play the
University of Northern Colorado on December 5 and Alderson-Broaddus College on
December 6. Both women's games start at 6 p.m., while the men tip off at 8 p.m.
