Pueblo -- Twenty-five talented high school musicians have been selected as members of the First Annual Southern Colorado High School Honor Orchestra sponsored by Colorado State University-Pueblo's Department of Music. Members of the Honor Orchestra are high school students selected from all Southern Colorado regions to perform in a full orchestral instrumentation under the direction of professional coaches.

The orchestra will perform a public concert at 2 p.m. on Nov. 22 at Hoag Hall on the CSU-Pueblo campus under the baton of the highly acclaimed Dr. Jacob Chi, Director of Pueblo Symphony Orchestra and the Veronika String Quartet. The performance will be recorded on CD and available for purchase to participants. Selected members of the Pueblo Youth Symphony and CSU-Pueblo University Orchestra also will participate in Saturday's concert.
