Colorado State University-Pueblo pays tribute to Vets with
ceremony
Pueblo -- Colorado State
University-Pueblo will honor those who have defended our country and right to
freedom as part of its 11th annual Veterans' Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Tuesday,
November 11 at the Southeast Asia Memorial located near the north end of the
campus library in cooperation with NU Delta Fraternity and CSU-Pueblo ROTC.
The ceremony will feature Master of Ceremonies Robert Sacoman, fraternity
sponsor, and guest speaker Terry Lingle, Director of Southern Colorado
Educational Opportunity Center. The ceremony also will include a flag
presentation by Ben Crossno, Past Grand Master of the Colorado Masons,
performances by the CSU-Pueblo Jazz Choir, Reveille/First Call by Al Everhardt,
CSU-Pueblo Artist-in-Residence, remarks by CSU-Pueblo President Ron Applbaum, a
benediction by Sir E. Fred Sullivan, Reverend, Beulah United Methodist Church,
and a flag placement by Knight Templars Commandery #3.
Refreshments will be provided in a pre-ceremony reception beginning at 10 a.m.
in the Occhiato University Center Great Hall.
