Colorado State University - Pueblo Celebrates Latin Culture this

Pueblo -- Colorado State
University- Pueblo will host "Dia Festivo De Las Hispanidad," a day to
honor Latin culture and heritage, this Friday (October 17) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m
in front of the campus library. The event is open to the public at no charge.
The event will feature Director of El Quinto Sol Recreation Center, Eddie
Montour, as guest speaker. Entertainment will include dancing and music provided
by El Ballet de Folklorico. Student booths will be set up for tortilla making,
education on Chicano history and advocacy, as well as a piņata and traditional
Mexican games. Food will be sold to raise money for local charities.
Sponsors of the event are CSU-Pueblo Office of Student Activities, Chican@
Studies and Social Work, MeCHA and Catholic Student Union.
