Internationally-Ranked Racquetball Player to Visit CSU - Pueblo
Pueblo -- Derrick Robinson,
the eighth-ranked player on the International Racquetball Tour, will conduct a
clinic on Thursday, October 16, at Colorado State University - Pueblo. The
clinic is limited to CSU-Pueblo racquetball classes and the Thunderwolves
racquetball team.
Following the clinic, Robinson will play selected members of the CSU-Pueblo
racquetball team beginning at 5 p.m. at the Sam Jones Sports Center. The general
public may view these matches. The featured match will pit Robinson against CSU-Pueblo
freshman Ben Croft, currently the U.S. National Under 18 champion.
Robinson, a full-time racquetball representative for the Wilson Company, is a
former World, Collegiate, and National Racquetball Champion. He recently moved
to Denver and is an advocate of college racquetball.
