CSU - Pueblo announces new Open Registration format
Pueblo -- Students
enrolling for classes this month at Colorado State University - Pueblo will
encounter a new process for registration. This fall, departments will advise
from their respective buildings rather than a central location.
Open registration for the fall semester at CSU-Pueblo will be held on Thursday,
August 21. Department chairs and faculty advisors will be available between 9
a.m. and 7 p.m. Faculty will advise from their offices, and use their own
computers to enroll students. Signage will be placed around campus to direct
students to the appropriate venues for advisement. On Friday, August 22, the
offices of Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Student Academic Services, and
the Academic Advising Center will be open to assist students as well. Classes
for the fall semester begin on Monday, August 25.
After a student has been advised, he or she will register within the department,
either through the faculty advisor or administrative personnel. Student Academic
Services will provide advising and registration services for all undecided
students and first-year students, with the exceptions of first year pre-Business
and English majors.
New and continuing students not yet enrolled for the fall semester are
encouraged to attend the August 21 enrollment day, or to call to make other
arrangements. For more information about Open Registration day, please contact
Patrick Clarke, Academic Advising Coordinator, 719-549-2544.
