USC hosts International Food and Cultural Extravaganza
Pueblo -- Exotic cuisine from the far
reaches of the globe will be available for sampling at the University of
Southern Colorado's International Food and Cultural Extravaganza potluck dinner
at 5 p.m., April 19, in the Occhiato University Center Ballroom.
The potluck will include a Moroccan Buffet including Greek Salad with Valsamic
Vinaigrette, Vegetable Chicken Couscous, curry-sautéed vegetables, as well as
dishes brought by everyone attending the event. The annual extravaganza is open
to the public at no charge beyond the offering of a potluck item.
Entertainment for the evening will include a dance from the USA and Nepal,
singing and guitar from Japan and the USA, a fashion show of Nepali clothing,
and presentations by Japanese, Nigerian and Nepalese students.
