Scholarships now available at the University of Southern Colorado

-- Applications for the White Rose Scholarship, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado Scholarship, and the Harlan Erker Memorial Scholarship are now available at the University of Southern Colorado. 

Individuals interested in applying for the White Rose Scholarship must be United States citizens and residents of the state of Colorado for the past year. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and show evidence of community involvement. The recipient must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Applications must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, Jan. 15, and received no later than Friday, Jan. 31. 

Applicants for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado Scholarship must be full-time engineering students who are entering their junior, senior, or fifth year in the fall of 2003. Applicants should be well rounded and active in extracurricular and community benefit programs. The application deadline is Friday, Jan. 10. 

Individuals who are involved in research or independent study pertaining to hydrology, geology, engineering, hydrogeology, law, economics, planning, computer modeling, or other topics concerning ground water in Colorado may apply for the Harlan Erker Memorial Scholarship. Applications should be submitted no later than Saturday, Nov. 30.
