USC Professor Humes speaks at Colorado Rural Electric Association
Pueblo -- James C. Humes, the Ryals Professor of Language and
Leadership at the University of Southern Colorado, was the featured speaker at
the annual meeting of the Colorado Rural Electric Association this week.
Humes's talk was titled "Confessions of a White House Ghost Writer"
which is the title of his autobiography. In his talk he recounted his
experiences writing for five U.S. presidents that included writing the words on
the moon plaque in 1969 and assisting former President Ford in his memoirs
"A Time To Heal."
Monday's luncheon meeting at the Convention Center was attended by over 200
members.
