Reward offered for information about car fire at
USC
Pueblo, Colo. -- The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office at the University of
Southern Colorado is seeking information about a car fire that occurred in the
early morning hours of Sept. 24 in the south parking lot of the Walking Stick
apartments.
The car was a 2001 Kia sport utility vehicle belonging to
Tina Burney, the manager of University Village at Walking Stick. The vehicle was
recorded as a total loss, and a silver Chevrolet Camaro parked next to Burney's
vehicle was damaged. The total damage was estimated to between $10,000 and
$15,000.
Sergeant Bill Brown of the Pueblo County Sheriff's
Department said deputies were investigating the fire as arson.
Colorado Bureau of Investigation's Arson Unit is offering
a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest. Individuals
with information are encouraged to contact the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office at
