Immunizations
 |
An Immunization form must be completed by a medical professional for every
student and submitted to the Health Services Office during the first semester of attendance at CSU-Pueblo.
An international immunization record must also be provided before being allowed to register for course work at CSU-Pueblo.
Proof of immunization must consist of :
Measles—two doses of live measles vaccine administered after 12 months of age or a blood test showing immunity to
measles.
Mumps—two doses of live mumps vaccine administered after 12 months of age or a blood test showing immunity to
mumps.
Rubella—two doses of live rubella vaccine administered after 12 months of age or a blood test showing immunity to rubella.
If a second measles dose was received prior to July 1, 1992, proof of only 1 dose of mumps and 1 dose of
rubella is needed.
Due to the requirement by the State of Colorado Department of Health
all appropriate vaccinations must be received either before or just after arrival in Pueblo. The shots are provided on campus at the Student Health Services or at the downtown City/County Health Department for a small fee.
For more information regarding immunizations and
medical procedures, please visit the staff at Student Health
Services.
