Employment Opportunities Faculty Employment Opportunities All personnel who carry academic rank, academic titles, or special academic status (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Instructor, Lecturer, Adjunct Professor, Visiting Professor, Faculty/Research Associate, Faculty-in-Residence, Endowed Chair/Professorship, and Professor Emeritus), certain administrative officers, and Charter School Faculty. Administrative / Professional Employment Opportunities Personnel who are Officers and Directors of Administrative Departments, personnel appointed by the Governing Board as officers of the Board, all such professional assistants to these officials whose appointments are by Board action, and administrative employees who do not have an academic rank or title. This does not include State Classified employees or temporary employees. Classified Employment Opportunities Permanent employees not included in the Faculty or Administrative/Professional groups are members of the State Classified Personnel System. This system is governed by Colorado Law and requires that candidates for such positions be residents of the State of Colorado.
