The Office of Residence Life and Housing provides students with a positive living environment that includes social, cultural, and educational programs and support services. The staff includes a Director, an Assistant Director, a Hall Director, three - four Student Coordinators, sixteen trained Resident Assistants (RAs), seven Student Assistants (SAs), an administrative assistant, custodians, and maintenance workers. A Resident Assistant is assigned to each floor, and the Student Assistants provide 24 hour coverage of the lobby desk that provides support and emergency services to students.

The Office of Residence Life and Housing consists of 3 residence halls. Belmont Residence Hall is on campus and houses 540 students. We are also operating 2 off-site residence halls at the Clarion Inn and the Quality Inn, due to our increase enrollment. Each floor has a Resident Assistant (RA), there to aid in the creation of community and assist students with their daily and academic lives. Find your RA here.

Belmont Residence Hall

Belmont Residence Hall has three wings and eleven floors with a total capacity of 540 students. Services include a 24 hour front desk, resident kitchen, lounge areas, computer lab, recreation games, mini gym, fitness room, study room, and laundry facilities. Students receive free phone service, cable TV service, and internet service in each room.

Off-Site Residence Hall at Clarion Inn

The Off-Site Residence Hall at Clarion Inn is a leased hotel building located about 2 miles from campus and has a total capacity of 135 students. Services include shuttle transportation to-and-from campus, a 24 hour front desk, computer area, meeting area, and a onsite fitness center. Students receive in-room televisions with cable service, a private bathroom per double room, weekly linen service, wireless internet, and morning breakfast.

Off-Site Residence Hall at Quality Inn

The Off-Site Residence Hall at Quality Inn is a leased hotel building located about 3 miles from campus and has a total capacity of 97 students. Services include shuttle transportation to-and-from campus, a 24 hour front desk, computer area, meeting area, and a onsite fitness center. Students receive in-room televisions with cable service, a private bathroom per double room, weekly linen service, wireless internet, and morning breakfast.

Saftey and Security

Student safety and security is a priority. All outside doors at the Belmont Residence Hall are locked at 10:00 pm, and floor doors are locked 24 hours a day. Each student is provided with a key that opens the outside doors and the student’s floor door and room door. CSU-Pueblo has an on-campus branch of the Pueblo County Sheriffs' department on-call 24 hours a day. The Pueblo County Sheriffs' provides service for both off-site residence halls.
