Personal Safety

Residents should not engage in activities that might place themselves or others at risk of bodily harm. This includes but is not limited to: propping exterior doors, throwing objects out of windows, sitting on window ledges, entering onto any roof area, or the use of bicycles, rollerblades or skateboards within the residence hall. These behaviors may result in disciplinary action or termination of a student’s housing agreement based upon the severity of the incident.

Campus Safewalk

Deputies and Campus Service Officers are available to accompany you to a building or your vehicle. Please call 719.549.2373 to request a Campus Safewalk. You’ll need to provide a specific location where you wish to be met and a brief description of yourself.

This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Deputy or Campus Service Officer will be identifiable by his/her uniform, radio and badge or ID card.
