SPIN Search Engine--
Worldwide database including government, private and international funding opportunities.  SPIN currently contains information from more than 1,200 different sponsoring agencies, which together fund over 10,000 separate funding opportunities. The database allows for searches on keyword, sponsors, geographic restrictions, deadline dates and much more.

Chronicle of Philanthropy -- No. 1 news source for charity leaders, fund raisers, grant makers, and other people involved in the philanthropic enterprise. This Web site offers the complete contents of the new issue, an archive of articles from the past two years, and more than two years' worth of grant listings -- all fully searchable. Subscriptions are available for periods of one week to one year. There is a significant discount if you are also a subscriber to The Chronicle of Philanthropy.

The Foundation Center -- Access to Foundation databases and directories, tips and training for grant writers, and newsletters targeting your area of interest.

Community of Science  --  (fee-based) Services for science.

Department of Education  --  Grant programs at the Department issue announcements in the Federal Register when they are requesting applications.

Federal Register via GPO Access Official daily publication for Rules, Proposed Rules, and Notices of Federal agencies and organizations.

Fundsnet Services  -- Primarily a fee-based service, but provides links to more than 700 online funding resources free of charge.

GrantsNet  -- Biological and medical funding opportunities.

GuideStar  -- A free service with information on the programs and finances of  American charities and nonprofit organizations.

NIH Guide for Grants and Contacts -- In its mission to protect and improve human health, the NIH conducts and supports basic, applied, and clinical and health services research to understand the processes underlying human health and to acquire new knowledge to help prevent, diagnose, and treat human diseases and disabilities.

NSF E-Bulletin  -- Announcement of grants programs at the National Science Foundation (produced in a daily web-accessible electronic edition in order to provide the most accurate and timely information as possible).

RAMS FEDIX -- Numerous grant seeking services.

SciCentral    -- Resources and services for sciences.
