For the past 16 years, the Outdoor Program (ODP) has been an important
part of building the community at CSU - Pueblo.
The activities offered through the program are open to students, faculty,
staff, alumni and friends of the university.
The Outdoor Program serves as a powerful group building experience
that helps participants develop new friendships, learn lifelong wilderness
skills, develop leadership, increase interpersonal skills and expand
appreciation and concern for the environment.
Outdoor Program trips are lead by student leaders experienced in the
outdoors and excited to be sharing their knowledge with you.
The Outdoor Program has something for everyone! whether you want
to camp for the first time, or you are an experienced backpacker looking
for new friends, we have opportunities!
These four "Orientations” provide an opportunity to learn
new things, meet new people and of course, have fun!

learn basic backpacking skills, while camping in a beautiful place.
