Intramurals


The University community has an opportunity to participate in sport leagues and special events in an organized environment, through the Intramural Program.

Providing regularly scheduled recreational activities with student interests in mind, the ELC's Intramural Program emphasized: recreation, health, wellness, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, social interaction, as well as cultural and gender sensitivity.



Fall Sports:
Flag Football, Soccer and Volleyball.

Springs Sports:
Basketball, Softball and Ultimate Frisbee.

Special Events:
Videogame Tournaments (Madden Football, Fifa Soccer, Guitar Hero), Dodgeball, Disc Golf, Table Tennis and Lemonade Pong.

 

Coed Flag Football Team Rosters Due - Sept 7
Games start at 6pm and end around 11pm. Games are played Monday – Thursday. League will take place during the month of September.

Description
Flag Football is played between 2 teams of 7 players, with at least 3 women on the field. A game may not be continued with less than 6 players. The roster limit is 12 players.

Coed Soccer Team Roster Due - Oct 5
Games start at 6pm and end around 11pm. Games are played Monday – Thursday. League will take place during the month of October.

Description
Each team plays with a maximum of 7 field players and no goalkeeper on the field. A team can play with a minimum of 5 players but will forfeit if an additional player is lost; for example, to a penalty or an injury. When playing with 5 players at least one female must be on the field. The roster limit is 12 players.

Coed Volleyball Due - Nov 1
Games start at 6pm and end around 11pm. Games are played Monday – Thursday. League will take place during the month of November.

Description
Teams must have an equal number of male and female players on the court. No more than six players can play on the court at once. 12 players are allowed on the team roster.
