Vocational Rehabilitation - Veteran's Educational Benefits Vocational Rehabilitation is for disabled veterans. This is the most unique program and each school is assigned a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to work with these students and to assist the School Certifying Official. These disabled veterans go through a testing process to determine if they are eligible for the benefit. If eligible, the VEB sends an authorization. Full tuition, fees, books, and in many cases, even parking are paid by the VEB to the school. In addition, the student gets a monthly check depending on the training status. VETERAN'S INFORMATION SHEET This form will be used to initiate a file for our office and also to update the VEB database.  AUTHORIZATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ENTRANCE OR REENTRANCE INTO REHABILITATION AND CERTIFICATION OF STATUS (VA FORM 28-1905) Prior to applying for benefits through CSU-Pueblo. Veterans' Educational Benefits Office, you must contact Dan Best at (719) 487-2892. If you have met the eligibility requirements to receive Vocational Rehabilitation Educational Benefits, she will provide you with VA Form 28-1905. It is mandatory that our office have a copy of this form before we certify you. CLASS SCHEDULE Our office can not certify you until we receive a copy of your class schedule for the semester you plan on attending. Once you have registered bring a copy to our office ASAP. Keep in mind that it takes the VEBRO at least 8 weeks to process benefits so the sooner you bring your schedule in, the sooner you will get your educational benefits. CLASS EVALUATION If you have prior credits from either CSU-Pueblo or another training institution, you must fill out a credit evaluation form and mail it to the CSU-Pueblo VEB Office. Get the Credit Evaluation Form Once our office has received all required paperwork, your name will be added to the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore list. You may pick up the required texts for your classes and $30.00 worth of supplies (paper, pens, etc.). If an instructor specifically requires additional supplies (calculator, etc.), please contact our office.
