SOF Grants

Student Organizations Funding Grants (SOF Grants)

One of the biggest benefits to becoming a registered organization is the use of Student Organization Finance (SOF) Grants. This money goes to creating sustainability within your organization, hosting events, and traveling to conferences to enhance your organization and Colorado State University-Pueblo campus. SOF Grants are submitted through OrgSync and are reviewed by the SOF Committee every other Monday with the dates located below.

If you are registered and would like to apply for a SOF Grant, here are the steps to do so:

1. Log in to OrgSync.com

2. Click on your respective organization (from the “Organizations” tab at the top)

3. Click on Forms within your tool bar located to the left of your organization’s homepage

4. Click on "SOF Grant Proposal"

Before filling out a SOF Grant Proposal, please refer to the SOF Grant and Finance Policies (click here).

Please fill out this application to its entirety, including any additional information to help the SOF Committee in awarding your StudOrg its grant.

In filling out this application, you will be asked to provide the following items for your SOF Grant Proposal.

•  Proposal description,

•  Methods of advertisement,

•  Methods of evaluation,

•  A statement of support from your StudOrg Advisor;

•  The itemized budget report (click here); and

•  The quotes/proof for all item requested.

The Student Organization Funding (SOF) Grants are available to any registered StudOrg for programs and events that enhance overall quality of student life on campus. SOF Grants should be used to boost the overall educational experience of students through development of, exposure to, and participation in social, cultural, intellectual, recreational, governance, leadership, group development, campus and community service, and informational programs and activities. For more information on the SOF Grant process, please refer to your StudOrg Handbook.
