Master the federal job application process

The Career Center at Colorado State University-Pueblo will offer students and community members training on how to master the often daunting and difficult federal job application process. According to CSU-Pueblo Internship Coordinator Tanya Baird, the United States government needs to fill about 100,000 mission-critical jobs a year. In addition to their search for qualified full-time employees, they have increased their internship opportunities in all divisions. To help increase applicants’ chances of success, the CSU-Pueblo Career Center will offer two options to attend this informative training:  September 14, 9-11:30 a.m. or September 16, 5:30-8 p.m.  Topics to be covered are Finding and Apply for Federal Opportunities and Mastering the application Process – KSA Writing and Résumés. The trainings are free to CSU-Pueblo students and staff, while community members must pay a $35 fee.  Pre-registration is required!  To register, please contact the Career Center at 719-549-2980 or email
