Ross Wedgle

Biography:

Colorado Born and raised, I have spent most of my life playing in the mountains. I am working on a chemistry/biology double major with a goal of being a Park Ranger when I grow up.  When I go camping I take a “back to nature” approach, where I try to imitate what my primitive ancestors did to survive.  For me, making homemade tools and gear is more fun than buying the latest gear.

Favorite Activities:

Camping, Hiking, Mountain Biking, fly fishing, rock climbing, and lasagna gardening.

Favorite Places:

Hanging lake in Glenwood springs, The Dream Stream , and anywhere deep in the mountains of Colorado.

Favorite Gear:

My home made Altoid’s tin survival kit, Hobo pot with coat-hanger handle, and my Gerber multi tool and could not enjoy the outdoors without my Nalgene bottle or my Subaru.

Favorite Camp/Trail Food:

Homemade vegetarian chili, mashed potatoes and cheese and of course gummy bears!
