Living on campus has many distinct advantages. In addition to the obvious convenience of location, on campus living offers social and academic benefits. The (SAB) Student Activities Board and other campus units provide convenient access to a variety of social functions and entertainment as well as academic support.
Single, first-year freshmen under the age of 21 with a home address more than 50 miles from campus, are required to live in the Belmont Residence Hall. This University requirement exists for the benefit and protection of new students.
For all other students, there are two choices for on-campus living. The Belmont Residence Hall, and the University Village Walking Stick Apartments. Either choice provides easy and convenient access to campus and community resources. It is approximately 2 miles from the campus lawns and fountains to the Pueblo Mall and numerous shopping and entertainment opportunities including a 14 screen movie theater.
