International students must meet the same academic requirements for admission as any other student. International students must be proficient in the English language and have adequate financial support to meet their costs while attending CSU-Pueblo. International students transferring from another school in the U.S. must be in good standing with U.S. Immigration and complete all immigration transfer requirements.
The requirements include being released in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) by the current or last U.S. school in order to obtain an I-20 Form from CSU-Pueblo. Without the SEVIS release, the transfer process cannot be completed. Students should visit with their International Student Advisors to ensure this process is done.
International students are strongly urged to apply for admission well in advance of their intended transfer date in order to meet all necessary admission and immigration requirements.
