Travel Arrangements to Pueblo
Please make travel arrangements to Denver International Airport (DIA). United Express out of Denver is the only airline that flies directly into the Pueblo Airport. Make arrangements at least 2 weeks before the planned USA arrival date.

Pickup from the Pueblo Airport is available from 8 am to 7pm. (Monday - Friday)

• Enterprise located at 29th street will pickup until 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.
 

If planning to rent a car for the first week(s) here, make reservations at least two weeks in advance.  For Students who are less than 25 years of age, the majority of car rental companies will not be able to rent out a car. However, Enterprise Rental Agency in Pueblo will rent vehicles to those under age 25.

Pueblo / Colorado Springs

PLEASE NOTE:
Make arrangements to fly into the PUEBLO AIRPORT whenever possible. Please ask the travel agent to book the flight through to Pueblo. There are (3) three incoming flights per day, Monday through Friday and two (2) flights per day on Saturday and Sunday.

There are several connecting flights that go directly to the Pueblo or Colorado Springs Airports (Colorado Springs is 40 miles north of Pueblo).

Pickup from the Colorado Springs and Pueblo Airports is available.  In order to receive a ride from either the Colorado Springs or Pueblo Airports please submit the following information as soon as possible:

1. Arrival Date
2. Arrival Time
3. Airport Name
4. Airline Name
5. Airline Number

All of the above information needs to be submitted, well in advance,  to

Students who are picked up by a representative from the Center for International Programs, will be driven to the dorm / apartment / house if prior arrangements have been made through the pre-leasing Housing Service or to a local motel. More information regarding the Housing Service is listed under housing.

Denver
Students arriving at the Denver International Airport (DIA) after 9 p.m. should plan on spending the night at a hotel and then come to Pueblo the following day either with the United Shuttle service, or by bus. Pick up service from Denver is not provided by the Center for International Programs office.

Hotels close to DIA – please see the information desk at DIA. We recommend that students who spend the night in Denver  stay in a hotel near the down town bus terminal, if planning to travel to Pueblo by bus.

Bus

The TNM&O BUS COMPANY has a station in downtown Denver. The bus leaves Denver at various times throughout the day and arrives in Pueblo approximately two hours later. From the bus station in Pueblo, a taxi can be taken to CSU-Pueblo or contact the Center for International Programs (Phone:(719) 549-2329) in advance for possible pickup arrangements. The taxi fee from the bus station to the CSU-Pueblo campus will be approximately $12.

When making travel reservations with any U.S. company, always ask about special promotional rates, student discounts, etc., in order to get the best deal.
