A strong visual identity, one that projects a clear and consistent image, can positively affect attitudes and opinions. The following graphic elements, when used correctly and consistently, will help strengthen the University's identity and distinguish it from other colleges and universities.
In order to establish a consistent and unified graphic identity, all printed material and promotional items representing CSU-Pueblo should utilize one of the following graphic elements based on the timeline associated with the usage of the publication or promotional item.
PLEASE NOTE: When you download an EPS file from the Web, the file's extension may be changed from '.eps' to '.ps'. If this occurs, locate the file and change the extension back to '.eps'.
CSU-Pueblo logo This graphic image should be used on any publications or correspondence directly related to recruitment of students for the Fall, 2003 year and beyond, or on any publication or promotional item with a utilization or shelf life beyond July, 2003. This image should be printed in black or blue (PMS 281) or in special cases in red (PMS 186).
CSU-Pueblo 75th Anniversary logo The official University logo has been adapted to include the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the University in 2008. It MAY be used through December 31, 2008, so consider this when including the logo on publications that have a shelf life of longer than one year. Use of this logo is not required but recommended for use during 2008. JPG image with a white background.
USC logo The USC logo or the USC/CSU-Pueblo Transition logo should no longer be used as a graphic element in the creation of university publications or promotional items.
CSU-Pueblo Wolf logo This image should replace the current ThunderWolf USC logo on any publication or promotional item with a utilization or shelf life beyond the 2002-2003 academic year (for use after July, 2003). This image may be printed in black only, blue only (PMS 281), or in a two-color format of red (PMS 186) and blue (PMS 281) as indicated. CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves graphics These are alternatives to use of the CSU-Pueblo wolf logo that include the ThunderWolves mascot name. These elements may be printed in black only, blue only (PMS 281), or in a two-color format of red (PMS 186) and blue as shown. University Seal The University Seal may be used on publications and promotional items with permission by the Office of External Affairs, (719) 549-2810. CSU-Pueblo-seal-flat-bw.eps
USC ThunderWolf The USC ThunderWolf logo should no longer be used as a graphic element in the creation of university publications or promotional items.
CSU-Pueblo Division of Continuing Education Logos These graphic images should only be used on any publication or correspondence directly related to the CSU-Pueblo, Division of Continuing Education. Three types are available, and are available in either color, or black & white. Reproduction of logos Reduced, scanned, or digitized logos are easily distorted and often do not reproduce well in printing. Reproductions of these images should be no smaller than two inches. These images should not be redrawn, re-proportioned, or altered in any way, with the exception of size. To alter any of these relationships is to undermine the purpose of having a consistent and recognizable institutional image.
Requests for logos Requests for logos used on special projects should be directed to the Help Desk.
Logos for Web pages This section does not apply to SharePoint CMS websites and pages. Six logos are available for CSU-Pueblo Web pages. The logos are the same type used in the banner on the CSU-Pueblo home page. All logos should be referenced using the global code below.
